Sticker Journaling – My Daily Routine, Favorite Supplies, and Layout Ideas
Share
I never thought I’d become a “sticker journaling person,” but here we are 😅.
It started with one notebook and a small pack of stickers. A year later, journaling with stickers is part of my daily routine. It's calming, creative, and honestly... kind of addictive.
🌿 My Simple Daily Routine
I usually journal in the evenings. Nothing fancy—just 10–15 minutes after dinner. I write a short paragraph about my day, then decorate the page with 2 or 3 small die-cut stickers. Sometimes I pick a theme (like stars, flowers, or cozy things), sometimes I just freestyle.
There are no rules in sticker journaling. Just do what feels fun!
🛠️ My Favorite Supplies
Here’s what I use almost every night:
-
A basic A5 dotted journal
-
Black gel pen (I love Pilot G2!)
-
Washi tape (neutral tones)
-
My favorite die-cut sticker sheets
-
A tiny pair of scissors
I keep all of this in a pouch, so it’s ready whenever I want to journal. The less I have to think, the more likely I’ll do it daily.

📐 Easy Layout Ideas for Beginners
If you’re new to sticker journaling, try one of these:
-
Top & bottom corners – Add small stickers in the corners for a frame effect
-
Sticker of the Day – Choose 1 sticker that reflects your mood
-
Sticker clusters – Group 2–3 small stickers like a mini collage
-
Sticker & quote – Write down a quote, decorate around it
You don’t need to be an artist. Your pages are for you.

💌 Where I Get My Stickers
I design and cut most of my own stickers using my Roland machine (and lots of love). If you want to try the same stickers I use in my journal, I’ve listed them here 👉 Check out our custom die-cut sticker options.

🧡 Final Thought
Sticker journaling has helped me slow down, be creative, and reflect. If you’ve ever felt curious, give it a try for one week. Just one sticker a day. That’s it.
